Italian art soars in Paris

In 2025, an unmissable and significant date awaits in Paris, nestled within the area called “The Golden Triangle,” bounded by Place de la Concorde, Rue Royale, and Madeleine’s church. From April through the end of June, sculptor Andrea Roggi will present six of his monumental creations here. These remarkable bronze pieces capture the theme dearest to him: the Tree of Life. The sculpture represents olive trees that sink their roots deep into the ground, drawing nourishment while simultaneously protecting the land with their lush foliage and enriching it with their fruit.

The exhibition includes the “Energy of Life” sculpture, on display at the Hôtel de Crillon and created in partnership with American goldsmith Martin Katz. This piece consists of a white gold sphere adorned with over two thousand precious stones. At the Galeries Bartoux, located in the heart of the city, Roggi presents a selection of smaller-sized artworks.

His strong dedication to the Parisian event doesn’t take him away from his cherished Italy. In Florence, until August 8, the church porch of the Basilica di San Lorenzo will feature four monumental sculptures, while five medium-sized works will be displayed in the basilica’s internal cloister.

Roggi’s art has made its way to Puglia, specifically in the Itria Valley, where four pieces are currently on display in Martina Franca as part of the “Roots of Humanity” exhibition. These will stay on-site alongside a new artwork. Additionally, two more sculptures will be showcased in Locorotondo and Cisternino.

Finally, the Pietrasanta Gallery serves Andrea Roggi not only as a display venue in one of Italy’s most significant squares for art and sculpture but also as a gathering spot to connect with visitors and a retreat for rejuvenation. Roggi sees art as more than just ingenuity and creativity; it’s also hands-on work and the vigorous and imaginative spirit that come together in the artistic foundry he established and equipped in Castiglion Fiorentino, where all his creations are brought to life.
