The space resembles an art gallery or exhibition, yet Tano Pisano’s new establishment in Pietrasanta–situated on the vibrant via del Marzocco in the heart of the city–serves a greater purpose. It operates as a hub for friends, collectors, and enthusiasts of creativity and culture.
Beyond the narrow window lies a spacious and inviting area filled with both people and artwork. Featuring watercolors, engravings, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and Plexiglas or metal creations inspired by Meccano, this space allows one to explore (or rediscover) the myriad creations of an eclectic and inquisitive artist who excels in a variety of techniques and forms of expression. Pisano states, “Every artwork emerges from a desire to create poetry, and each time, I choose the best technique and medium to convey that particular poetic vision through simplification and focusing on the essentials.”
