a muy sabrosa story
Eighteen! Eighteen candles for Enoteca Giulia, and Forte has never been as flavorful. Thanks to the fabulous menus at this paradise of Italo-Iberian sabor? To the heart-of-town location? To the outdoor tables, so enchanting on a summer’s evening? All of this, to be sure, but a much of the merit goes to the effervescent atmosphere in the front of the house, in the kitchen, everywhere! Thanks too to the bubbles: French, Italian, and above all Spanish. One of Italy’s most interesting collections of Iberian wines, say the experts in the know, with its list of rare and autochthonous Spanish regional labels that gets longer every year. And what about the food? The paella is a must: mixta, pescado, veggie, or with lobster, made fresh every evening (but in great demand, so book ahead!) Other favorites are the marinated Joselito abanico, the 1001 tapas, the homemade pasta dishes (the carbonara iberica is beyond delicious), the huge selection of Pata Negra and Serrano jamones. Oh! And another thing: you can order Giulia’s paella and wine for home delivery all year round!
