family warmth among the olive trees

Just inland from Forte dei Marmi, we find ourselves in the countryside, surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove worth the visit on its own. Francesca and Valentina welcome guests, while their parents divide their time between the kitchen and the wood-fired oven. Chef Fabio Petrocchi leads the culinary vision, shaping the restaurant’s gastronomic identity. Three elements define this charming retreat: its warm, family atmosphere; the fresh pasta handcrafted by the chef together with Mamma Giusy; and the flavor of wood-fired cooking. Whether it is the catch of the day—symbolized by Catalan-style seafood with pinzimonio —or tender Scottona beef with its sides, anything that meets the oven gains memorable depth of flavor. Even the focaccina that Francesco, their father, serves to guests as they are seated becomes part of the experience, linking the indoor dining room, separated by a large glass wall, with the olive grove, softly lit by strings of lights. The menu favors local seafood while also honoring the land, with timeless dishes such as stuffed mussels, crudité, and meatballs in tomato sauce, alongside creative interpretations, including testaroli pasta with seafood ragù and gnocchi with three types of shellfish.
