giving form to the soul of marble
Massimo Galleni Scultore
It was 1980 when Massimo Galleni began working in marble and learning the secrets of his craft, and 1995 when he launched his own studio, which today is a model for the sector: a space where the hand of the artisan works in unison with high-tech robotics. To put his long experience at the service of art and beauty and such artists as Giuliano Vangi, Rabarama, and the late Igor Mitoraj.
One of the studio’s strong points is Massimo’s capacity to establish collaborative relationships with his clients, thanks to an ability to listen that shines through in his creations for architects, designers, and private clients. Besides sculptures (classical, modern, religious), the studio produces works that enhance villas and hotels in Italy and abroad: high- and bas-reliefs, fireplaces, capitals, vases. “Sculpture gives a soul to marble,” said French writer Chateaubriand. With Massimo Galleni, that soul takes on a multiplicity of fascinating forms.
