Italian excellence at the Monaco Yacht Show

Artisans of Excellence: Meet the people who are bringing Italian craftsmanship to the world.

Every product of excellence is the result of the hard work of people who imagined its form, selected the materials, took care of every detail or developed the technology to make it unique and reliable.

With “Artisans of Excellence” we give a face to the protagonists of Made in Italy. These individuals represent our country in the most prestigious international contexts. We kick things off with the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, the world's most important showcase for luxury boating. There, we met six Italian companies that perfectly embody the tradition and innovation of Italian craftsmanship, showcasing everything from marble to lighting, homewares to leisure items.

Giuseppe Menchini, owner of Menchini Guido e F.llo in Querceta (Lucca), a company specializing in the processing of marble and natural stones for the residential and nautical sectors. At this year's Monaco Yacht Show, he presented a selection of exclusive materials, furnishing elements, and sculptures such as the seahorse in Nero Portoro shown in the photo.

Cantalupi Light Engineering, based in Viareggio (Lucca) since 1951, is a leading supplier of luxury lighting systems for yachts and megayachts. In the photo, business developer Alessio Marini presents two portable lanterns from the “Otto” collection.

Patrizio Lari is pictured with the splendid 'Danilo' table lamp, which is made of crystal and has gold-plated bronze finishes. It is one of the handcrafted creations of Baldi Home Jewels, which has been operating in Florence since 1867.

Among the new products presented by BCM Illuminazione of Capezzano Pianore (Lucca) at the Monaco Yacht Show is the rechargeable 'Sablier' lamp, pictured here with account manager Leonardo Lori.

Since 1983, Pinetti has been synonymous with luxury accessories, handcrafted from the finest Italian leather in Bagnatica, Bergamo. The Fitness collection was launched at this year's Monaco Yacht Show. Pictured with a sophisticated set of training weights is the company's CEO, Lorenzo Pinetti.

Palagi Marine Lights, based in Capezzano Pianore (Lucca), has grown alongside the international success of the Viareggio nautical district. The company offers a wide range of lighting systems for residential and nautical applications. General Manager Alessandro Palagi is shown here with some models of the innovative, ultra-compact 'Mini' system, which is retractable, adjustable and rotatable.
