now that’s style – my Forte, forever inspiring

Driving off at the Versilia exit and feeling the air shift. “That’s when I start breathing home,” says Lucrezia Fiorini, born in 2004, a law student in Pisa and a young fashion creative. Milan often calls her for work, but it is toward the sea that she returns each time with the same eagerness. She wasn’t born here—she’s Florentine—but, as she puts it, “Forte was waiting for me even before I was born.” The first time she arrived on this beach, she was still in her mother’s womb. After years in Montecatini, it was a return to her roots. For Lucrezia, Forte is a double source of inspiration. In summer, she observes the international rhythm of arrivals.
“I love watching how people mix colors and accessories. It’s a constant lesson in style.” In winter, when the town grows still, the clarity of the light and nature guide her creativity. Her designs are born like this, between the cosmopolitan energy and the quiet order of the off-season shoreline. The sea remains her first love. “There’s no better place than my gazebo to study,” she says. Then, the promenade: once the stage of childhood roller-skating, now the route of long walks with her beloved dog and training runs toward Massa or Viareggio. Seamless pedestrian and cycling lanes, palms, and perfectly kept flower beds define Forte’s balance.
The rituals of a twenty-year-old local are shaped by focaccine from Valè and, above all, Orlando. “Whenever I meet someone new, I take them there.” And when the Riviera heat peaks, she escapes inland for long tables, simple food, and cooler air. Iconic nights still unfold at La Capannina or Twiga, yet summer also lives in private gatherings—at home or at the beach clubs. For the past two years, Lucrezia and her friends have hosted a themed beach party, drawing more than a hundred guests. “We do it simply to be together,” she says, “and every time, new friendships begin.” She studies law, sketches garments, and jogs along the seafront. For her, Forte is not just a setting—it is an open-air atelier. A place that inspires her and, from the very moment she leaves the highway, brings her back to herself.
