where cuisine meets mixology
Il Centauro + B’Art
We are in one of Pietrasanta’s most atmospheric corners, where a breeze drifts down from the hills, passing the Museo dei Bozzetti before settling on the Mitoraj sculpture that lends the restaurant its name. In this secluded square beside the Duomo, summer evenings unfold under the stars, at tables draped in long white linens. Two souls coexist at the heart of the experience: cuisine and mixology. Guests may select from the Centauro menu while sipping cocktails skillfully crafted by the bartenders of B’Art. The meeting of classic mixology and traditional local cuisine is expressed in pairings such as pappa al pomodoro reinterpreted with whipped codfish, served alongside a classic Italian MilanoTorino (MiTo) cocktail. Likewise, spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino with prawn tartare finds its match in a citrus-forward gin Cabriolet—ideal when the heat lingers, yet the surrounding lawn and quiet atmosphere restore a sense of calm.
