high-altitude elegance
One hundred days before the start of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Gucci presents Altidude, its first winter sportswear collection.
One hundred days before the start of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Gucci has unveiled its first winter sportswear collection, Gucci Altitude. Gucci describes the collection as "a balance between commitment and naturalness", inspired by the precision of technical snowwear and the fashion house's tradition of leisurewear.
Each garment is designed to move in harmony with the natural surroundings. Alpine clothing has been reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, with technical elements sublimated into refined silhouettes that can keep pace with changing terrain. The selection is completed by sports-inspired eyewear, including ski goggles and wraparound sunglasses, both of which are embellished with the Gucci logo.
Combining advanced performance and distinctive codes with specially designed technical garments, the collection is crafted with cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated elegance. The models feature breathable triple-layer structures, water-repellent finishes and functional details such as ski pass pockets and touchscreen interiors.
Alongside ready-to-wear items, accessories and footwear, the Maison also presents high-precision sports equipment in partnership with Head. Designed for skiing and outdoor adventures, this selection includes skis, poles, snowboards, sports bags and helmets embellished with the iconic Web stripe redefining technical sportswear for the most intense moments of winter.
Jannik Sinner is the star of the campaign. The campaign images follow him as he makes his way through snow-capped peaks against an endless horizon. They are an authentic representation of the focus and discipline that shape excellence in every field. "It was a truly special and unique shoot," Sinner said of the campaign. "I've always loved the mountains, and this shoot took place in an absolutely incredible setting. Gucci always comes up with extraordinary ideas, but this one was truly magical and an experience I will never forget.”
